This blog is to serve as a help and encouragement to worship leaders, musicians, creative staff, and church leadership.
I am the worship leader at Watermark Church in Ashford, AL. Even if you are not a worship leader you may find some of the blog helpful. I love leading worship but I also like to dabble in technology, especially as it relates to the church. Media can have a huge impact on the way we do church. However, leadership has a much deeper and longer lasting impact, so that will be an ongoing topic.
About Me
I am a husband and father. My wife, daughter, and I enjoy spending time together. I believe the only way to spend quality time is by spend quantity time. Family is very important to me.
I have a Bachelors in Theology from The Baptist College of Florida and Masters in Religion: Worship Studies from Liberty University. I believe formal education is important but it pales in comparison to what I’ve learned through being in the ministry full time. No amount of formal education can ever fully prepare you for ministry.
I believe that God is moving and working through the local church. The church is God’s plan A and I don’t believe there is a plan B. Because of that I have devoted myself to the local church. If you would like to visit our church website CLICK HERE.
